How to read this comparison

  • Starter kit is the up-front purchase to begin selling. Some companies also charge an annual renewal or a website fee; check the company page.
  • Personal commission is your cut of your own retail sales. Downline commission is what you earn on sales by people you recruit; a plan with no downline pay is single-level, one with overrides is multi-level.
  • Sales to earn the kit back divides the minimum kit by the minimum commission. It is the retail volume you must sell before the kit has paid for itself, before any other costs.
  • Most multi-level plans publish an income disclosure statement. Ask for it, and read it, before you sign. Typical participants earn far less than the top ranks.
  • Figures are company-reported and can change. Spot something out of date? Tell us.

I have been a Wine Guide with Traveling Vineyard since 2011 and I absolutely love the company, the product and our in-home wine tastings! Our company motto is "Work Hard, Be Kind." That right there is just awesome. It's not just a motto though, it's a way of life that our entire tribe of Wine Guides has embodied. We work together, we support one another and we are working towards helping others achieve their dreams and goals. Becoming a Wine Guide was the best decision I could have possibly made for myself and my family.

I've enjoyed being part of a growing company that seems to understand exactly what consultants need to grow their businesses. The support is the key! And everyone loves wine, so it's also been fun marketing the product and the experience of a wine tasting.

I drink wine and eat snacks and get paid for it. That alone deserves five stars! This is the first DS company I have been involved with and had actual money in the bank right away. Traveling Vineyard is a company with integrity, offering a fun and straight-forward business opportunity. Plus, I get to taste affordable, quality wines with wine lovers for free, and earn marketing fees!

I have been a Wine Guide with Traveling Vineyard since February of 2015 and it has been by far one of the BEST decisions that I have ever made. Traveling Vineyard has become my serendipity. I had no DS experience nor was I looking to ever do DS. However, after hosting a tasting, I knew this was something that I had to be a part of. I have been a successful Wine Guide the past 2.5 years because the business model and the support from Traveling Vineyard is top notch. The opportunities that Traveling Vineyard has provided for me and my family can't be beaten. Best. Decision. Ever.

Being a wine guide with Traveling Vineyard for the last 3 years has been a whirl wind of fun. Not only have I made a great side income, I have learned how to appreciate wine so much more than I did originally. The flexibility that we have to do our business is perfect. I work as much or as little as I want. This has allowed me the opportunity to spend my time with my family-which is priceless. Great wine + a great company mind set=HAPPY ME!

Chose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life! Never, ever, did I think at 46 yrs old that I would end up working for a DS company - but heck! It's wine!!! Simple said, The Traveling Vineyard provides us (wineguides) with everything we need, including wine, to LOVE our jobs and the ability to share this love and passion. And unlike many other DS companies, once our clients get their wine, it is often gone in 30 minutes and they want more! When you LOVE your company and you treat your clients right - you get a formula for tremendous success!
