Olive Tree People is the umbrella brand and US social-selling arm of OLIVEDA, a German skin care house with an unusual origin story. Founder Thomas Lommel developed his first product, the I01 olive leaf elixir, in a tree house in his own Andalusian olive grove, then built a skin care line around one idea: replace the roughly 70% water in an ordinary cream with that elixir. The US Waterless Beauty Consultant program arrived in March 2023 and, by the company's own count, passed 70,000 consultants in 2026. The opportunity itself is simple: a $50 Digital Starter Kit, no inventory, up to 35% commission on customer sales, a 25% personal discount, and a brand that ties every purchase to protecting old olive trees and funding wells in Africa. Team income exists but the full plan is not published openly.

Olive Tree People - Our Thoughts
Company Overview
Olive Tree People is what the company calls its "Mother Tree": the umbrella under which OLIVEDA and its sister brands LA DOPE, OLIVE ROSE, OLIVEMUSH, IS THAT MATTY? and ARISTAEOS sit. The original brand, OLIVEDA, grew out of founder Thomas Lommel's personal story. By his own account he built a large group of companies by his late twenties, hit a health crisis in his thirties, and found his way back through olive oil and olive trees. In 2001 he went to Italy to learn olive growing, and soon after bought his first grove in Andalusia, Spain: 120 century-old mountain olive trees. He built a tree house in it and developed the I01 olive leaf elixir there. From that came what the company calls Olive Tree Therapy and, in time, a full skin care line built on one idea: replace the roughly 70% water in a conventional cream or serum with the bioactive olive leaf elixir, and replace refined oils with the company's own Arbequina olive oil. Products are made in Germany from the company's organically certified mountain olive trees in Spain, and the company says they are organic, cruelty-free and vegan except where its own honey is used.

Waterless Beauty didn't come from a trend. It was born from years of living with these trees, protecting them, learning from them, and trusting that nature already knows better than we do.
Thomas Lommel, founder, Olive Tree People — PR Newswire, August 2026
The US business, Olive Tree People Inc., started shipping in March 2023 from Los Angeles. Growth was steep: the company reported $104.5 million in net revenue for its second US year (press release, March 2025), said it had passed a $1 billion valuation (May 2025), and counted more than 60,000 consultants by mid-2025 and more than 70,000 by August 2026. A Canadian program based in Edmonton, Alberta, opened in July 2025, and a European arm was announced for October 2025. On August 27, 2026 the company opened its first US flagship store at 1335 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California, joining existing stores in Berlin and Düsseldorf. The parent company, Oliveda International Inc., trades over the counter under the ticker OLVI.
The catalog is large and coded by letter and number. F-series face products include the F59 Hydroxytyrosol Corrective Serum Face ($96.95), F07 Anti Aging Face Cream ($69.95), F82 Green Retinol Face Elixir ($74.95), F74 Regeneration Intense Face Cream ($99.95), the F38 Purifying Cleansing Gel and F75 Lip Balm, and the F97 Deep Glow Hydrogel Face Mask ($19.95 single) and F96 Olive Glow Eye Patches ($12.50 a pair). B-series body care covers shower gels, body balms and oil serums at about $40 to $60, H-series hair care includes the H90 Hydroxytyrosol Hair Oil Serum ($59.95), and I-series "Inside" products include the I01 ORAC & Camu Camu Olive Leaf Concentrate ($44.95), I66 The Beauty Fountain ($87.95) and I70 The Beauty Molecule, plus mouth pulling oils, olive matchas and extra virgin olive oil. OLIVE ROSE is the makeup line, led by the Serum Hydroxytyrosol Skin Tint ($59.95) with concealer, blush, contour, mascara and a setting spray from $29.95 to $49.95. Newer additions are the ARISTAEOS Colostrum + Hydroxytyrosol supplement ($119.95), IS THAT MATTY? pet grooming and a Baby & Mom range. Prices checked October 2026.

The company's mission copy links every sale to two causes. First, buying and eco-certifying land with old mountain olive trees: the site counts 30,985 trees rescued so far, and in September 2026 the company said its groves had completed a Demeter biodynamic audit, with formal certification pending. Second, water: since August 2013 the company has pledged one well for every 100 hectares of olive land it acquires, starting with two wells near Dakar, Senegal, and it says about 15,000 people now draw water from wells it has funded. Customers get a 365-day satisfaction guarantee, and a $20-a-year Treehouse Membership gives shoppers points and vouchers. The US program runs on us.olivetreepeople.com with a sister program in Canada.
Digital Starter Kit
There is no physical kit. Enrolling as a Waterless Beauty Consultant costs $50 for what the company calls the Digital Starter Kit (also the OLIVE TREE PEOPLE Digital Kit). The join page says it includes ongoing product and business training, business analysis and digital marketing tools. With it you get a personal shopping website, a back-office dashboard for sales, marketing and earnings, access to the support team, a Waterless Beauty training platform, and two lead-generation tools the company leans on heavily: the Olive Tree Sound Bath, a live audio experience you can share for free, and OliveBrain, a regimen builder that recommends products from a customer's skin profile.
At enrollment you also choose a mentor (the company will match you with one if you do not have one) and may optionally add a product Starter Set to have items on hand for what the company calls Glow Workshops with friends and family. Sets are optional. The join page states there are no minimum order quantities or inventory requirements, and consultants get a 60-day risk-free return window on their own purchases. Starter Set contents and prices are shown at enrollment, so check the current offer before you sign up.
Compensation Plan
Olive Tree People publishes only the headline numbers on its join page. Consultants earn up to 35% commission on sales to their clients (the export on file lists the range as 25% to 35%), and can buy most products for themselves at a 25% discount. Customer orders are placed directly with the company and shipped from its warehouse, so the consultant never handles stock or fulfilment. Sales made through the personal website, at Glow Workshops or in person all count.
It took me over 21 years to realize that direct-to-consumer sales, rather than retail, is the perfect match for waterless beauty.
Thomas Lommel, founder and CEO, Oliveda International — PR Newswire, June 2025
Beyond personal sales, the company says consultants earn additional income from mentoring and leading their teams, and that "in order to advance as Consultants and earn volume on the team, sales to clients and members are expected and monthly volume targets apply." The join page does not publish the rank names, team percentages or the exact monthly volume requirements, so check the company's current compensation plan in the back office before relying on a downline figure. Incentives mentioned on the site include trips to the tree house in Spain and to the company's wells in Africa, plus invitation-only events. Consultants agree not to recruit other Olive Tree People consultants into other direct selling companies and not to resell on marketplaces such as eBay or Amazon.
