Nu Skin - Our Thoughts

  • Company Overview

Nu Skin is an international giant in the anti-aging, skincare, and nutritional supplements. Founded in 1984, Nu Skin is now traded on the New York Stock Exchange. With over 200 products that help people maintain health and wellness along with a focus on age-defying products, Nu Skin has been a leader in many technological skincare products.

Nu Skin has generated over 2.68 billion dollars worldwide in 2018 while donating 8.5 million through their Nu Skin company and global partners for children’s charities.

The first country that Nu Skin expanded into was Canada before broadening out to Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and the Pacific.

Currently, Nu Skin has four different skin regimens that tackle four different skincare issues. AgeLOC Transformation is their line for serious anti-aging problems to renew skin, tackle puffiness, skin texture and give an all-over youthful glow. Nu Skin 180 is for promoting new cell growth and exfoliation. Tri-Phasic White is specifically formulated for discoloration due to sun and hyperpigmentation. Clear Action Acne Medicated System tackles break-outs, acne and helps to smooth skin texture after past scarring from break-outs.
  • Starter Kit

Nu Skin allows you to either become a “Brand Affiliate” where you share your love of products to others and make commissions off of them and a team if you choose to build one. The other is a “Customer”, who enjoys loyalty discounts.

In the Nu Skin join link it shows Loyalty packages that are discounted and you have to sign a guarantee that you’ll purchase the products for a handful of months in a row. The other starter kits have Nu Skin favorites for their skincare line to their health and wellness add-on packages of shakes and supplements. They have a 30 and a 90-day supply of Nu Skin Greenshake, Vanilla and Chocolate shakes. The Beauty Delight package has a collection of beauty and skincare products like Tru Face products, Epoch Sole Solution and Epoch Body Butter, Curl and Lash Mascara, Face Lift Original and several more round out the bag of goodies.

  • Commissions and Compensation

There are several levels for selling Nu Skin.

You start out as a Brand Affiliate which allows you to sell to others. Once you are selling and build a loyal customer base you may qualify to move Brand Representative. From there you can move up to Brand Partner where you have Brand Representatives and sell to registered customers. Brand Directors are the leaders in the company that have one or more teams of Brand Representatives and Nu Skin Brand Partners. It gets a little confusing on all of this. If you are looking to move up quickly, reading the fine details will matter on this.

If you are wanting to grow your business you need to have complete blocks of $500 in CSV (Commissionable Sales Volume). To track your sales Nu Skin has a Velocity Report where you can see all of your stats.

There is a $10 minimum for any automated transfers. There may be other fees for transferring with no other specific details listed. Your online sales commission starting out as a Nu Skin Brand Affiliate, commissions are paid on the difference of member pricing to the retail price.

In 2018 Nu Skin paid out $126,892,539 in commissions per their Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. Distributor Compensation Summary.
