ORLANDO (Direct Sales Aid) — Tupperware is recruiting consultants again in the United States and Canada, two years after the company that invented the home party filed for bankruptcy, with a $45 starter kit on offer through Oct. 31, 2026, a 25% to 35% commission on personal sales and a lender-owned parent that has sold off Latin America to concentrate on its home market.
The brand’s join page lists two kits this fall: an Everyday Influencer Kit for $45 ($60 Canadian), available Sept. 1 through Oct. 31 while supplies last, and a Deluxe Business Kit for $119 ($169 Canadian), offered through Dec. 31, 2026, that the company values at more than $250. Anyone who already owns enough Tupperware to demonstrate can enroll for $15 ($20 Canadian) with no products.
“From day one, you will have the chance to earn 25–35% commissions on personal sales that you make, qualify for incentives, and participate in promotions and programs that support your business growth,” the company says on the page. The site’s footer describes Tupperware as a member of the Direct Selling Association with its application pending.
A smaller company, now focused on the U.S. and Canada
The most recent change came June 2, 2026, when Party Products LLC, the lender-formed company that owns the Tupperware brand, completed the sale of its Latin American business, chiefly Mexico and Brazil, to Betterware de México for $250 million: $215 million in cash and $35 million in newly issued shares, according to the buyer and to Dechert, the law firm that advised Party Products. The deal, announced Jan. 20, included a perpetual, exclusive license to the Tupperware name across Latin America.
Party Products said at the time that the sale was “an important step in its global plans, allowing it to focus on regional commercialization and innovation,” and that many of the products sold in the U.S. and Canada would continue to be made in Mexico. The same announcement listed the brand’s channels as its independent sales force, its own online store and “leading national retailers such as Amazon, Costco, Target.com, Walmart.com and Macy’s.”
Betterware, which also owns Jafra, said the Latin American business it acquired came with more than 140 distributors and more than 200,000 independent sales representatives, according to its announcement. Tupperware has not said how many consultants it has in the United States and Canada.
From Chapter 11 to Party Products
Tupperware Brands Corporation filed for Chapter 11 protection in Delaware on Sept. 17, 2024, after what it called “years of struggling with an over-leveraged balance sheet and outdated operating model.” A bankruptcy judge approved a sale to a group of its secured lenders on Oct. 29, 2024, for $23.5 million in cash and more than $63 million in debt relief, The Associated Press reported. The lenders, led by Stonehill Capital Management and Alden Global Capital, completed the purchase of the brand, its intellectual property and operations in a set of core markets on Nov. 27, 2024, operating as Party Products LLC.
President and CEO Laurie Ann Goldman, hired in October 2023 to overhaul the company, said in the October 2024 announcement that the new owners shared her plan for a leaner business.
Tupperware is considered the inventor of the party selling model and made no-leak food conservation products famous. Over the last year, we created a new strategy and operating approach that is digital-first, technology-led and asset-light, and preserved a global footprint for the Company.

The company said then that “The New Tupperware Company” would be “rebuilt with a start-up mentality” and would focus first on the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, Korea, India and Malaysia, while markets with heavy liabilities wound down. The cuts were real: the last U.S. factory, in Hemingway, South Carolina, closed with 148 layoffs finishing on Jan. 14, 2025, and production moved to Lerma, Mexico, Manufacturing Dive reported. In Europe, French entrepreneur Cédric Meston bought Tupperware France in March 2025 and said he was negotiating a license with the U.S. owner to relaunch the brand in five European countries, France 24 reported.
Product development did not stop. On Sept. 18, 2025, the brand released its first glass food storage line, Voila Glass, in borosilicate glass with vented, BPA-free lids rated for the oven and the freezer, Direct Selling News reported. The glass pieces now anchor both starter kits.
What it means for sellers and shoppers
For anyone weighing the opportunity, the entry cost is among the lowest in direct sales, and the products carry a name most customers already own. The published pay is simple: 25% to 35% on what you sell, plus incentives and a program the company calls Pay Yourself a Bonus. Tupperware has not posted current team commission rates or host reward tables on its public site, so ask the consultant you plan to join under for the full plan and the income disclosure before counting on either.
The trade-offs are the same ones every post-bankruptcy brand faces. The company is smaller than it was, it has changed owners, markets and factories in two years, and it sells the same products on Amazon, at Costco and on Target.com and Walmart.com that its consultants sell at parties. Shoppers who want a consultant to get credit for a sale need to order through that consultant’s personal store link.
