Usborne Books & More sold children's books, from baby board books to chapter books and reference titles. The core was the Usborne list from London: touchy-feely and lift-the-flap books, sticker and activity books, first encyclopedias and early readers. EDC added Kane Miller picture books and novels after it bought that publisher in 2008. Buyers were mostly parents, grandparents, homeschool families and teachers. Schools and libraries also came in through book fairs, which rewarded them with free books based on what families spent.
