What is Origami Owl?
Origami Owl sold jewelry built to tell a story. The heart of the line was the Living Locket, a round glass-front locket that twisted or hinged open. Shoppers filled it with tiny floating charms for names, birthstones, hobbies, pets, faith and family milestones, then added a chain, metal plates and dangles. Around the lockets came bracelets, earrings, rings, locket watches and licensed collections such as Disney, Harry Potter and Justice League. Its buyers were mostly women buying for themselves, moms marking a new baby, and friends looking for a personal gift at a party.
