What is Lulu Avenue?
Lulu Avenue sold two kinds of jewelry. Most of the catalog was fashion jewelry: necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and charms in base metals with glass, crystal and non-precious stones, refreshed each catalog season. Alongside it sat fine jewelry set with Charles & Colvard moissanite, which cost far more. The old Direct Sales Aid profile put moissanite pieces at roughly $200 to $1,500. Customers were mostly women shopping for themselves or for gifts at a friend's trunk show, plus hosts who earned free and half-price pieces.
