Sweet Minerals sold mineral makeup made for real life. The company said its formulas were made for "active women 30s and above who have skin sensitivities," and it described them as sweat-proof and water-proof. The core was the Flawless Face set, built around loose mineral foundation in about 20 shades. Around it sat blush, bronzer, mineral veil, pigment-rich loose eye shadows, lipsticks, lip glosses, brow kits, brushes and two skincare lines. Its customers were mostly women who wanted quick, light coverage, especially those with sensitive or problem skin, and who liked trying makeup at a friend's party.
