What is BeCause Cosmetics?
BeCause sold everyday makeup in simple black packaging: eyeshadow palettes, mascara, liquid and gel liners, lipsticks, lip glosses, a hydrating foundation, blush and brushes. Prices sat roughly between $11 and $45 an item, with bundles above that. Later the line grew into skin and body care, with face washes, primers, foot and hand products sold under playful names. Its customers were mostly friends and followers of its sellers who wanted affordable makeup and liked knowing part of the price went to a cause.
