Sign your team up for a day of friendly cornhole competition in support of the sweet young boy Ben Myers who is diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called SCN2A. This disorder causes catastrophic medical and developmental problems including intractable epilepsy, Autism and visual impairment. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to Ben and his family to help cover medical bills, intensive therapy, and equipment that isn't covered by insurance.Ben started having seizures right after his 1st birthday. For over a year he endured hundreds of seizures a day. After numerous hospitalizations, 12 failed drugs and treatments, and countless tests, his family found the cause of his suffering – a mutation on the SCN2A gene.

Ever since his diagnosis, he and his family have spent many days in and out of doctors’ offices and the hospital. Ben is on multiple daily medications, is legally blind, severely developmentally impaired, and is dependent on a feeding tube for nourishment. Despite all of his medical issues – Ben is the sweetest little guy and wakes up happy every morning ready to tackle another day.With the help of his dedicated parents, medical professionals and other families affected by this rare disorder, SCN2A is finally getting on the map. Research is underway and a cure is not unimaginable any longer.
